In Joe Biden's Democratic convention speech Thursday night, the vice president used the word "literally" incorrectly, a lot. Literally.
The Twittersphere swiftly mocked Biden's misuse of the word, which means "exactly." To be fair, "literally" is frequently confused as meaning "virtually," or "nearly."

Someone in the Obama camp apparently noted the chatter on Twitter and bought the sponsored tweet on the search term "literally."
